My review to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience at Bayou Restaurant in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Despite the restaurant 's 4.5-star rating, my husband and I found the food to be bland, unseasoned, and tasteless. My husband, who grew up eating authentic Cajun food in Louisiana, found the dishes to be a far cry from the real thing. He described the food as all right, which, in his opinion, is a euphemism for terrible. In addition to the lack of flavor, we found the food to be overpriced. I was visiting the area. I'm from the South and let me tell you the food didn't disappoint! The staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant had a great Southern vibe. I went there for lunch with my nephew. Appetizer we had the corn bread fried cauliflower and we both enjoyed the dishes. My nephew had the Jambalaya and he said it was very tasty. I had the Beet and Goat salad and it was delish!!! I would highly recommend The Bayou.

Food was very pretty but definitely not what I thought it was going to be…I got the brisket, mac cheese and there was literally no brisket in it for the price I expected more. I also got the chicken and waffles I did love that it was very big. I wasn’t a fan of the syrup. The corn bread was delicious tho. Overall it was a nice restaurant but probably won’t come back.

I ordered the Mac and cheese with brisket and the brisket was so scarce, lucky if I had 5 slivers, small thin pieces in the whole batch. When you pay $17-18 for Mac Cheese you expect much more. Extremely disappointed! Also, my friend ordered the Mac Cheese with the ham hock and he said there was such a small amount with his meal too. Reserva una mesa ahora

WILL DO AGAIN!!! Never disappoints ever!!! Jalapeño Margaritas with Brisket Mac and cheese is my go to. Kids menu even satisfied the shortest of the group. Wife absolutely loves the fried chicken! And always ask for the pickles, they make them in house and they are phenomenal. Great job #bayou

Great customer service,delicious food and pleasant environment every time . Parking: Easy street parking Kid-friendliness: Kids eat fee on Wednesdays and has kids menus .

waited for our reserved table for 30 min then waited to be seated then waited to place an order another 15 min. Waiters was rude, food is nasty. Never again. Thank you.

Wow! So much food. Breakfast for tomorrow. Brisket Mac all the way, baby. And get a Hurricane. It's like I'm on Bourbon Street.

Wss recommended. The staff was friendly. I got the fried chicken dinner which was very tasty nice and juicy
