The Beach - Reserva de mesa

We often go here for coffee and cake but decided to have a meal today.The service was good and the view from the restaurants garden was lovely but the food was a let down.I ordered the burger which was overcooked and the portion of chips was tiny.My wife had the crab and prawn linguine which tasted nice but the portion size was very small with hardly any crab or prawns Some of the reviews were good but that was not our experience today

Very dissapointing visit after hearing decent things about the place. Food was mediocre to say the least. Luke warm chips and a prawn sandwich that was on dry bread and not even a sniff of the promised Rose Marie sauce. How a glass of coke costs more than a half of decent lager too was mind boggling. Prices too were very much on the top side. A prawn sandwich for £11, I think not. We will not be returning any time soon.

We have been coming to the Beach Cafe for a long time now and this morning received excellent customer service from Mark. He is new to The Beach Cafe and gave us friendly professional service. Our vegetarian breakfasts were delicious as always and we sat outside in the sunshine. Will be back soon and hope that Suzie or Mark are working as they make you feel welcome.

Lovely little cosy cafe bar, busy!! Popular esp in summer.. Does nice snacks, sandwiches and drinks. Has View across to sea with benches outside. At time we went staff were quite stressed so forgetful prob due to being busy due with crammed in tables. Reserva una mesa ahora

We rented an air bnb a few doors away from here and popped in here a few times over our week there, the breakfasts are amazing, tasty, filling and great value for money, staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Me and my wife have tried to eat at this cafe four times, every time we go in and wait for someone to seat us, they just give looks and do not communicate, I have tried to say hello but they have walked off, avoid.

Just back from a fabulous Afternoon Tea at the Beach Cafe , fabulous views delicious food , the afternoon tea is the best I have had anywhere, so much variety, amazing scones, great service, loved it
