Mixed grill very small for the price. Asked for well done steak came back still mooing. Chicken was also undercooked. Carvery -was not given the choice for a small so had to have medium. We were told to wait till they replenish more carvery. When we did eventually get our food it was the bottom of the bowls and cold. Since arriving home those that had carvery were ill. Number 2 jobs and very bad pains in their chest. Those that had the mix grill were still starving. I'm sorry but we won't be returning to the beehive again. 13 unhappy customers
We were staying at the next door premier inn while we were visiting family for two nights and went into the Beehive both nights for drinks, The pub has a carvery which we didn’t try but looked great. The reason I wanted to write this review was the staff. I have never been in a pub with such friendly amazing staff. Everyone we encountered were so lovely and couldn’t do enough, really chatty and made you feel like one of the locals Fab place !!
Always have a good experience at the beehive, Horwich, however this one particular visit an elderly gent fell poorly. The manager, whose name I did not catch, helped the gentleman and his family. She was fantastic, she was calm, made It as little a scene as possible and kept everyone around calm. I feel she needs a mention due to her quick, calm and professional response to the situation. Well done and keep the good work!
