We went there for a Team lunch, 10 of us. We arrive right on time . A table of 6 arrive after us and got served before us. Then another table that arrived after us Algo got served! We had to ask several times as we were not given any feedback by the waitress. After the 3rd time we asked after 1.hour they started serving us, however people didn’t get their meal almost 15 mins after everyone else. Very poor! We guessed they got something wrong in the order, but they never told us. We got a discount, but it is not worth the pain for sandwiches and burgers. We just wanted a nice team meal and it was just a joke.
I went to this historical pub for dinner. The service at the bar was just okay, with two young girls more focused on their conversation than serving customers. The beer was good, but it's hard to go wrong with beer. They only serve pies, and while the meal was nicely presented, it wasn't hot enough and we've had better pies in London. Overall, it might be a better place to grab a beer rather than have a full meal.
visited the pub for some food and a couple of drinks last week, food is great, and drinks and reasonably priced for the area. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We sat upstairs to eat and it’s very cosy and clean. Highly recommend!
We had a great time with friends at this restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The selection of beer was impressive and we would definitely come back again. Special shout out to the bartender, Daragh!

A classic and charming old pub in the City of London. The landlady, Kamila, was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

This pub has reasonable prices for London with a good range of drinks on offer. Service was efficient at the bar.
