The Bengal Lounge - Reserva de mesa

We ordered 2 main dishes, a vegetable side dish, 2 pilau rice, and 2 garlic naans for takeaway. We paid £37.00 for food that was just average. There was no discount offered for collection. Unfortunately, we did not check the price before my wife collected and paid. Upon looking at the website, we saw that it should have been £27.00. When we called to inquire, they made excuses about having a new menu and said that my wife had already paid with a card. This is the most expensive Indian restaurant in our area, and the food was nothing special. I would recommend avoiding it.

In just 10-15 minutes, the delivery person arrived at our door. Surprisingly, our usually loud and defensive dog seemed to like him, as she greeted him without a single bark! While my husband and son were still enjoying their meals, we were able to eat together thanks to the quick delivery. The customer service was exceptional, and we were grateful for Bengal Lounge's prompt response. Of course, the food tasted just as delicious as always. Thank you, Bengal Lounge, for another great dining experience.

This is the worst Indian food I have ever had. It was bland, lacking any spice or flavor in the curries. The naan bread was soggy and did not have any garlic, cheese, or meat in the keema. Each curry only had six small pieces of meat and the portion sizes were very small, more suitable for kids.

We have been here a couple of times and each time the service has been super. The four course menu is great value and lots of choice is available. Service from the waiters was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. We shall definitely be back for more delicious food! Reserva una mesa ahora

Had 3 courses and the food was fantastic. Servers kept my drink topped up and did what they should but didn't see a smile or any sign that they actually wanted to be there. Shame really as food is so good. I will return when next in area but only due to the food

Really loved everything about my trip here. I had the chicken chat puree for starters and its been the best ive ever had. Also had the chicken jalfrazi and the spice was just right. Would deffo recommend going. Ill deffo go again.

just round corner so handy, ordered a takeaway, food fantatic, but like other reviews seem some internal problems between staff. was going to order again but shut down for 3 months just reopened will be going back

Fantastic food. Slow service which seem to be amplified by staffing issues, however, a discount was given on presentation of the bill. Other than that we'll be back for another tasty curry. Naan breads to die for. Reserva una mesa ahora
