I didnt want to appear rude or ungrateful to her as I was told that you got two courses for twelve pounds and that seemed a good deal but I was extremely disappointed. We hired out the function room for our wedding on 11th June and must say we were really impressed!! It was the most perfect day and the venue looked amazing! We were well looked after by all the staff and everything ran smoothly the whole day/evening. Good selection of beers behind the bar. The Wedding Breakfast and the evening buffet was delicious and they ensured we never ran out of food. Some of us booked the rooms upstairs to stay overnight and for a sit down breakfast in the restaurant area the following morning. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. We have been here for a Sunday carvery on a number of occasions, and absolutely love it here! Yesterday there was a choice of beef, lamb and pork, or a combination of all three meats! There was a large selection of freshly cooked vegetables, including mashed and roasted potatoes, roasted onions, parsnips, green beans, carrots, cauliflower cheese, potato gratin, to name a few. The first rule of hospitality is to be hospitable. We arrived at 12:30 and found the car park empty, with signs advertising food outside. Upon entering, we noticed a strong smell of fresh paint. The only people inside were a man drinking tea or coffee, who we assumed was the landlord, and a woman he was speaking to. There was nobody behind the bar. After waiting for a while, the woman grabbed her bag, smiled at us, and left. The man finished his drink without acknowledging us and walked around the bar. At that point, we decided to leave. We hired the function room at The Berkeley for our wedding afternoon Tea Party. Great location as our guests were all local to it. Bar and staff were spot on Jason himself and Claire, great selection of draught beers/lager cider plus spirits. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, table's were set out with cloths and chairs. We then added our own decor to the room in readiness for our wedding guests on Saturday. We had an amazing day and night with some guests staying over at The Berkeley. Feedback was great Jase we had booked until midnight but didn't actually leave until 1am (bar was closed by this time) due to a delayed taxi!! Well what a find! I’m almost ashamed to say we tried somewhere else on spec but they were full so rang ahead down the road and they fit us in. A busy Sunday lunch but I cannot fault them. The staff with us (and each other were happy and gave proper, really helpful service (including the pud in a doggie bag as the carvery was so generous! , it seemed nothing was too much trouble. Then there’s the food what more could you ask, well cooked, choice of 3 meats and veg galore, to my taste done to a turn just enough bite and……sprouts! In March! I know!!! All in all, enough to make me wish I lived next door. Thank you to them all very much, you started our holiday in style.
Fantastic Carvery We stopped by looking for some lunch without booking. The car park was empty but we thought we would give it a try . Luckily they could fit us in. I think they had a lot of booking that afternoon. Friendly and efficient staff. The food was amazing. Great choice on the carvery. Venison, beef and pork. Cauliflower cheese, potato gratin, roast potatoes mash. Plenty of vegetables. The £12 cost included delicious puddings too. So impressed that we will definitely visit again.
My boyfriend and I dined at this restaurant on our last night in Worcester. It has been under new management for 4 weeks and is run by a family. The owner was kind and accommodating. The food was amazing, especially the Halloumi and Chips, which was a generous portion at a great price! They also offer rooms for guests to stay in at £50 per night, all of which are clean and have en suite bathrooms. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Worcester!

I parked my campervan in the large car park of this restaurant for a night a few months ago. The manager, Matt, was okay with it as I was purchasing drinks and food at the pub. I had no complaints about the service, food (I heard that Matt recently learned to cook on the job), or the venue. I hope to visit again one day. Thank you for the great music, laughs, and hospitality!
I would say it’s the best carvery around. Food cooked to perfection with plenty of choice. A choice of three meats, including Venison and Lamb. Absolutely delicious! and well worth a visit!!
