Visited here last night and for the first time ever (and anywhere) the member of staff serving me my glass of red wine checked that it was OK before giving it to me. Using a straw (cocktail style) the wine was apparently on the turn and a glass was poured from a fresh bottle instead. I've never been anywhere that has bothered to check before so I was hugely impressed with this simple but fantastic example of customer service. Well done!!! Apologies for not remembering the staff members name but he was brilliant!!!
Great location and great fun at the quiz! First time visiting and looking forward to going back. We were a group of 6 with one pregnant member and the team were accommodating and polite throughout. We ordered several rounds of drinkers, I can recommend the Berliner draughty lager great value and tasty. We also sampled some food nachos and pizza and again hit the spot. Quiz was a nice pace and wasn’t too serious but heaps of fun! Well done Staff at Berliner! Thanks Lee and friends!
We have visited this restaurant several times now and have always been pleased with our experience. The staff is excellent and the food from the limited menu is always more than we can eat! They offer great cocktails, a good selection of beer, and host special events, making it a wonderful addition to Beeston. The restaurant is conveniently located along tram and bus routes, making it easy to access and get home from.
This place is so great!!! The staff are so lovely and work so hard , never without a drink and so quick to make sure you’re accommodated for !! The cocktails are great price!! 2 for £10 can’t complain !! Only downside was that the nachos were very poor but the excellent service , great staff and lovely drinks made up for it! If you are a young diner, you may rate this restaurant four stars. However, if you are older and seeking traditional European dishes like schnitzel, you may be left disappointed. The pizzas seem to be store-bought and the potatoes come from a packet. Despite this, the bar is quite pleasant.
