The Big Chief Roadhouse

I had never heard of this place, but the menu looked good on the site, so I decided to give it a try last week. My friend and I sat at the bar and the service was perfect. I had the Stampede Burger and it was worth every penny. The patty was only cooked as I asked and had a lot of taste. What the burger had set about many other burgers I had recently was the quality of the toppings. They were fresh and really added to the overall experience. Usually the pickles, salads and other veggies are not remarkable. Another pleasant surprise was the house BBQ Sauce. I don't remember what it was called, but it was great with the Pommes.

We visited this restaurant for the first time, a few days ago. We were really impressed and after just a visit, this place quickly became one of our favorites. We ordered a cheeseburger and pommes, a turkey club with house chips and a loaded burger with everything on it and it was all so good. The cookie cake was enough to feed 3 people, except my teenage son ate it all himself. We also ordered strawberry cheesecakes. ... we liked the cheesecake but the biscuit cake was GREAT!! We will certainly return! Next time we'll bring friends.

Great service. Food and beverages including refills were quickly received on a busy day. The outdoor terrace with fans and shade was very comfortable. Food was very good and served fresh and hot. Try the reubs. Land Fried Steak was large with large sides of green beans and potatoes. Children loved the house dressing and pastas were good. The beer menu has been varied with many good options. Save space for Dessert.

Maybe you miss this place if you don't watch. Don't give it up. Huge portions and phenomenal meals. Old styles feel with all the accompanying little city treatment. I can't wait to go back. The **** is great!

We ate here out on the patio for lunch. It was fairly busy for a week day. The food was pretty good.
