If you want bang for your buck you should go to The Bishop and the Belcher on Wednesdays for Wing Night! Hardly a little known secret as this place was packed. I ordered a pound of Asian Zing w/ Fries $6.50) and a pint of beer $4). My server brought three different complimentary hot sauces from Hawberry Farms of Manitoulin Island. I added each of them to my meal in different ways and they really made things POP! The wings on their own were good. They came crispy and sauced up just the way I like em. The fries were okay. I wasn't really a fan but for the price I wasn't going to complain. Pleasant service. Cool vibe. I'll be back.

Takeout from The Belcher. After eating a double order of pad thai for lunch, my partner and I decided on the Belcher for dinner. I've eaten here a few times but this was our first takeout. After flagging a server for takeout, I was asked for my order and if cutlery were needed. BONUS Sadly the bartender was chatting with guests otherwise I'd have sat for a Black and Tan. The wait was nominal as it was a slower Wednesday. The food was well cooked and flavored. FYI: the fish from fish and chips has a heavy batter.
Stopped by on a Sunday at noon for brunch and treated ourselves to full English Breakfast and Mimosas. Our waitress was uber attentive, stopping by to make sure everything was fine, refilling coffee cups and generally just being great at her job. Our plates were loaded 3 eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, beans grilled tomato and toast. Filling and tasty. I couldn't come close to finishing everything. Sorry forgot to snap a photo. Looking at the regular menu this pub seems to offer a great variety.
Another British-themed pub serving the expected classics such as fish n chips, pot pies and curry dishes. Service is friendly and accommodating while this establishment caters mainly to the business lunch crowd and after work people. <br/ <br/ Nice decor and a good menu as well as fare selection of beers on tap make this pub a good choice if you're in the area. Good for a meeting spot with friends or if you just feel like having a pint (or two) after work. Reserva una mesa ahora
Great Pub Food. When a pub chooses to use quality ingredients in its menu, you get a better tasting menu. Sure it 's still greasy pub food, but you appreciate the quality of the food much more. Plus fresh hand cut fries. The buffalo style chicken fingers are my favourite. (And for something a bit 'healthier ', try the buffalo chicken ceasar. Daily specials always offer something new and seasonal.
This place used to be good. Unfortunately, it changed. I am writing this after the third consecutive terrible service, or rather, no service. There are much better, more friendly pubs in the area including Jack Astor's on Yonge street and another great patio and an Irish pub at 235 Bloor street east. This place has really gone downhill. Too bad. Hope they turn things around.
Always busy. This is a great place, and so it is not surprpising it is often hard to find a seat. Service is not the best, but its casual place, so it still works. I love the Trivial Pursuit on the tables and the lettuce wrapes keep me coming back! The best pub on Church Street for sure...even if a bit of a walk from the village.
Nice vibe and good outdoor patio. Some of the staff aren't aware of the drink deals when you purchase some meals so be sure to remind them before they prepare your bill. Reserva una mesa ahora
The Bishop The Belcher has the best pub food in the area, and has a huge menu. They also have drink specials daily.
We drink here a lot after work. Typical bar style food and service.
