The Black Beans Cafe

We discovered this restaurant through a local newspaper article that featured great and affordable dining options in Hollywood and Dania. As fans of Cuban cuisine, we decided to make the trip, and we couldn't stop talking about our plans to come back even before we finished our meal. This place is amazing! It was immaculate inside, the staff were friendly, and the portions were generous and delicious. I ordered the fried chicken chunks, while my husband had the Vaca Frita beef. With a couple of beers, desserts, coffee, and a tip, our total bill was just over $40. They even offered complimentary traditional grilled buttered bread. We had enough food to take home for leftovers the next night....

I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. The waitress makes fun of customers who send their food back. I've been a regular for over five years, and while the food is generally okay, there are times when it's tasteless. When I brought this to the attention of the manager and owner, they apologized, but the waitress kept ridiculing us for returning our meals. It felt like the owner didn't genuinely care about our concerns. Overall, I would rate the food as a 1 out of 5.

My experience was mediocre. The fried yuca was not fresh, though the chicken was decent. The white rice didn't stand out either. The chicken soup was just passable, but my biggest complaint was with the noodles—they were simply terrible! I won't be returning, as I've enjoyed better meals at other places.

Everything was incredible! I ordered the Shredded Beef (ropa vieja), and I was happily surprised to see that it came with rice and beans. I had also ordered some extra on the side, but that was no problem! Everything was served hot and prepared quickly. It was truly amazing! Reserva una mesa ahora

I'm not being here since Don Felix and Irenia managed the restaurant but was delicious, (moved to Texas after hurricane) I wish can go to have the churrasco with rice and salad, palomilla steak, chicken fricasse etc etc.

The best Cuban restaurant in Florida! Don't let the exterior fool you; this place is truly outstanding. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years! Food: 5/5.
