I stopped by for a quick drink on my way home. The pub was quite full, but not crowded. There was only one person serving and she seemed more focused on chatting with the regulars. Eventually, I was served a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord, but it tasted terrible, not like it should. Maybe the pipes were dirty. I only drank about a third of it before leaving. I won't be coming back, which is a shame because the beer is one of my favorites.

Situated on the Old Watford Road in Brickett Wood. Visiting friends in the area, so met up prior to dinner at home .Fairly small pub with few tables for dining. Big TV present. Good selection of ales, very reasonable prices. Service pleasant. Comfortable seating area.

My sister and I came from Birmingham for my uncle's funeral, and my distant cousin arranged for us to have drinks and sandwiches at this place. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the good Stella beer.

Keeps very good ales and clean pipes. Great if you want to catch up on all the sport and often has roasted spuds for punters on a saturday afternoon. Nice garden too for live music and big screens outside

The band canceled at the last minute, but the restaurant provided BBQ to make up for it. The food was decent.
