By far the best pub on the high street. Great outdoor space at the back with booths, TVs, heaters, outdoor bar, DJs. Good mixed crowd. Super busy on a weekend, especially a Saturday but always a friendly and lively vibe. £3.50 happy hour 5-7pm Mon to Fri with lots of drinks to choose from including cocktails. Food is great too. But it's the staff who make this place. The whole team are brilliant, always up for a laugh and will go the extra mile. Pub quiz is good fun on a Wed night with Izzy. Particular mention for Callum and Jody (the interlopers from the south) for making me and the family so welcome. Oh and for Charles on the door who is prob the smiliest nicest guy yer ever likely to meet...

Best pub in yarm! Whether you’re after a midweek pint with some good food and a chilled vibe, or a cocktail and a boogie on the weekend, this is the place to go. Exceptional service from all the staff, especially Jodie, Callum, Izzy and Jacob always so welcoming, friendly and up for a laugh. Had occasion to visit yesterday ordered Rump steak and a beer, Beer was excellent. Unfortunately I have to say the Rump steak was the worst I have ever had. It was completely inedible it was so tough I literally could not bite into it in fact it was hard to cut even with the supplied steak knife.
This restaurant is a cozy, historic gem hidden away in dark corners. The food was outstanding, especially the small plates and buy one get one free pizzas. The menu offered unique and delicious options, making for a wonderful dining experience overall.
Visited today for food drinks, food was lovely and quick. Fantastic service from Jacob, Courtney, Ben, James Emily so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Food didn’t last long enough for a photo
Fantastic food and drinks, quick friendly service and very cute pub, with a huge garden and loads of atmosphere, massive TV along with lots of little huts with their own TVs and heaters
