The Black Bull Pub

We called in for lunch after doing a little bit of shopping, being English we were drawn to the British pub. They do the usual variety’s of beer and a limited menu. Don’t expect French cuisine but for the price of the burgers you would think it was cooked by Raymond Blanc and to be honest they are nothing special, pretty much Wetherspoons at a price.

We have always avoided this eatery because it looks like a bad theme pub, turns out we were wrong, lovely relaxed meal with a fantastic choice of beer on tap. Not good if you are in a hurry, but we specifically wanted a slow meal, we wanted to sit an relax. Very enjoyable last night of a mini break.

We used to use this 'pub ' loads, but over the years the staff has changed and not always for the better. Good place to have a drink and a quick snack.

Excellent service, excellent food and great beer selection. 5 stars from me and the other half. Would recommend and re-visit.

Set up like an English pub with pub grub cheap and cheerful. Always have some good English Beer on offer
