The Black Dog - Reserva de mesa

My family and I have visited this restaurant a few times, and each time the food has been delicious and beautifully presented. It's located in a lovely area ideal for hiking, and there is free parking available right across from the pub. An added bonus is that dogs are allowed in some sections of the pub. Highly recommended!

This pub offers great food in a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The daily specials provide excellent value for money. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal and a pint after exploring the moors. Dogs are welcome in designated areas of the pub, and there’s also a beer garden. It’s a popular destination for hikers.

Not all vegetarian options were available, and not all the advertised ice was served. If you're looking for salt and pepper chips, I would recommend just getting the regular chips and adding your own salt and pepper. That way, you'll get more for a lower price.

Lovely pub, manager is lovely, run off his feet, very busy pub, meals are lovely, staff need a rocket up the backside, they are very slow to clean table's, they seem to follow one another around chatting, not good for this busy pub, need older waiting staff, Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice place, dogs allowed in bar area which is nice if you're out for a walk. Large car park across the road. Food was reasonably priced and nice but my only criticism is the chips , would have preferred proper chips instead of frozen!

The restaurant offers an excellent kids' menu. The food and drinks are of great quality, especially the fish. The mushy peas are just right. I would rate the service a perfect 5. Overall, a highly kid-friendly establishment.

I stopped by for a drink after exploring the area and enjoyed a nice pint of golden ale. I noticed that others were eating, and their meals looked delicious, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to stay for food.

Great quality food and reasonable price too. We didn't have to wait too long for the food either. I would definitely recommend the beer battered fish and chips.

We love our local so much! It doesn't matter who serves you, they are always so happy, friendly smiling. Food is filling and hot. Serve a decent pint too.
