10 of us went to celebrate a friend's special birthday. We had a beautiful meal (very good portions) and the service was excellent. Took a cake along and our friend was made to feel very special when the landlord brought the cake out, involving most of the people in the pub creating if possible a fab atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend this place. Definitely an all rounder.

I came here for the first time yesterday and it is absolutely stunning. very clean a very nice place. the service was excellent and they could not do enough for us. I will be back in the future. keep to the hard working staff! eating was also absolutely fantastic. in one class!

Lovely place with friendly staff. Had to wait for our mess cooked but they were delicious when they came. Great choice of wines to go with meal. Very clean and relaxing surroundings will definitely go back again soon. Highly recommended.

Great portions, would have to recommend the “famous “ steak and ale pie. Visited many times and always been a good experience Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Braised Steak

This pub is fab, staff are super friendly.. Nothing is too much trouble for them.. Good is amazing, cannot fault it at all..always too much so often need a doggy bag haha... Try it you won't be disappointed X
