The Black Duck - Reservar una mesa

I had a toast with a local cheese, that was not too bad, although the toast was rather dark, but my husband had the cassoulet which was really tasteless, we suspected it was just out of a can and thrown into a pot, it had absolutely no taste and the meat that was in it was either fat or something that did not have any flavour. We certainly won't go there again. Waitress was not interested either, I think she did not like her job.

We were recommend this restaurant by our Airbnb hosts and went there for lunch whilst visiting France. When we turned up it was very busy and we were told we wouldn’t be able to eat. So we decided to stay for a drink and the owner managed to find us some duck legs from the kitchen ! The food was very tasty and the service was good. Would go back again if we were in the area, but we would recommend that you book beforehand.

Great location and views Good beer. Mix planche consisted of cubed cheddar cheese and supermarket meat Fish and chips. Frozen. Service slow. So wanted it to be good but overall unacceptable to serve this sort of food in the centre of foodies heaven. Does not deserve rating and needs to take step up

Great rustic food, and an excellent value formule lunch menu (soup, potato salad, boeuf bourgignon, cheese and dessert). Friendly and welcoming owner. Beautiful village location.

Lovely family run pub/restaurant. Food was amazing and the view from the outdoor area was glorious. I would definitely go back
