the black horse is just around the corner of a related one we visited, who said they were already there and said it was good. we were not disappointed. we visited at 1 hour to lunch. inside there were iron beams everywhere that gave this old world look and quite spacious. a good selection on lunchtime. we all chose the chicken cakes that were big and tasty with chips that were big and fluffy. we had no appetizers or desserts, just as the main thing is big. it was very busy this lunchtime that shows how popular this place is. the staff was also pleasant and helpful. highly recommended.

Black Horse is a welcoming venue with warm atmosphere. We booked for Sunday roast, the meat, Yorkshire's excellent, however veggies a little tired and dry hard parsnips. It was a mid afternoon booking probably fresher nearer lunchtime.

best eating in the opposite always enjoying them coming here. the sunday roast is a must and the triple roast is a challenge. I loved the Banoffe Pie.

excellent Sunday midday best banana cake and 3 roast flour. always a joy and the best lunch in brentwood and excellent worth I will come back.
