Lovely cafe, great location and friendly staff. The food was the best food we've eaten out in a very long time. Great value for a main and a drink at just under £10 each. I had the fish chowder and it was amazing! Can absolutely recommend. My husband had the nachos (no chilli) and again it was above and beyond expectations. Quality produce, quality food, great value. You can tell the chef is talented with great flavours and textures and takes real pride in what they serve to their guests. We will definitely be back and will bring friends next time so they can also try the amazing food! We'll done Black Mulberry
This restaurant is dog-friendly with a very welcoming and helpful staff. The atmosphere is pleasant. We sat outside and although the view of the river Nidd was obstructed, it was still enjoyable to people watch. We ordered a delicious tuna cheese melt, a cherry blondie (which was nice but a bit small in my opinion), and some coffees. Additionally, we received a dog sausage, which appeared to be a whole cooked sausage cut into pieces. It was hot, which was not ideal for the dog, but she managed to eat it all.
Came here today by chance after having a bad experience at The Ugly Duckling.Hubby had the breakfast muffin which he said was perfect and I had toasted banana bread which was the best I have tasted.We both had cappuccinos which were delicious.The waitress who served us was extremely pleasant and friendly as was the young girl who asked how our food was.We will definitely be back here as it was really lovely food and service!!
Took my friend on Tuesday it was her birthday. We just called for a drink on her surprise trip out . The staff were so kind came with the best chocolate brownie we have ever had with a candle and sang happy birthday to her . A lovely cafe with all home cooked cakes scones and great meals We will be back next time for lunch Thank you so much for helping to make her day special

We visited this restaurant for brunch before heading home after spending a few days in Knaresborough. It was a great discovery - a beautiful location by the river, with friendly staff who were very attentive to our dog. The food was delicious and we regret not finding this place earlier. We will definitely be returning in the future.
We had a delightful light lunch at a charming cafe with a view of the river. The waitress was friendly and efficient, making our experience very enjoyable.

Great place to sit outside opposite the river. Great cakes, try the Yorkshire Rascal. Good choice of drinks and snacks.
