My wife and I went here for a make up mini moon trip after I got horrendous food poisoning the first time (what luck). The food was amazing, and our waiter was just the most lovely person. The only reason I knocked one star off is because we were sort of talked into a bottle of very expensive wine, after being promised a reasonable price, when the sommelier said he would pick it for us for our special occasion. The bottle was quite expensive, and we certainly should have asked, rather than just trusting someone the idea of reasonable is different for everyone, and it falls on us as well! They did comp us a glass of champagne each, which was exceptionally kind. I would highly highly recommend...
Food was delicious. They have 11 tables, so be sure to make a reservation. Only one chef, and he makes the food to order. The dining experience was about 2.5 hours. I like when restaurants give you time to enjoy the meal and chat with the people you’re dining with, so they did good on that end. Our waiter was Sean. He’s so polite and knows everything about each dish. We each stuck to water for the night, no alcohol and it was about $90 per person after taxes and tip. I would eat here again.
Nothing beats The Black Pearl anywhere in Pinellas. The cozy, private ambiance; the professional, immaculate and yet friendly service. And of course the fantastic food, every dish being something you could eat for the whole night. Incredible spot for a special occasion. Make reservations and then take your time at dinner. A truly special experience.
The best experience ever! Amazing staff, Sean was always attentive and provided great ideas for dinner options. This was my first visit along with my wife and her sister. Would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions. The Tokaji Hungarian wine was perfect to accompany the dessert.

What a hidden jewel!! Everyone went above and beyond to make our dinner experience amazing! We were blown away by how good the food is! Sean was very helpful from start to finish! Totally worth the drive from St. Pete. Can't wait to go back!
Perfect evening! This is a must try hidden gem. Was looking forward to our date/birthday dinner and was not disappointed. Great service, presentation, and all of our dining choices were delightful. Will be back for sure!
This place is top notch, very upscale. You can tell everyone loves working here, you get so much attention during your time here. Food just melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavors

The Black Pearl never disappoints! I've never ordered anything I didn't love! This is definatley a great special occassion and/or date night spot!
Lovely experience for our anniversary. I would highly recommend the filet, it was incredible.
