Easily the best sandwich in the San Fernando Valley. Cue up Sinèad O’Connor’s Nothing Compares 2 U and chow down on their Black Rabbit Panini. The chicken is baked in-house and their ingredients always taste fresh. The portions are big! It’s great for sharing or dividing up for breakfast and lunch. Get a Sweet Bunny fresh juice to wash it all down. This place is excellent!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: The staff is very friendly and willing to customize orders to fit your needs.Parking: Ample!Kid-friendliness: They serve grilled cheese and pasta!Wheelchair accessibility: This place has a ramp! Stopped by to grab a quick bite, it is hidden inside of a liquor store! There is a sign outside so you don't miss it! Ordering is easy, they have a little kiosk with all the food options they have available. I got the chicken pesto panini, it was so good! There was enough pesto and chicken in it, the arugula gave it a great crunch! And the melted provolone just topped it off! I had their homemade lemonade, which was a bit too tart for me. I didn't enjoy it as much as the panini. I will be stopping by for lunch again, I'll just try another drink!
Parking: plaza parking so you'll be good! It is located inside a market, so just walk straight in and you'll see it right away. Im excited to have stumbled upon this place! The prices are good and the portions are big. To ordered, there is a computer machine where you select your order and pay through the card. Since it's located in a market, there is a variety of drink selections to choose from. The food itself was very filling and deliciously made. Will definitely be coming back here again.
Got the Black rabbit sandwich (with extra Chipotle sauce). Nom nom! The bread alone is bomb; crispy and delicious. The sandwich was tasty had good flavor. It's'a good size filled me up. Enjoyed it with a cold Dr Pepper from the market. The market has a lot of drinks snacks. There's about 8 chairs outside in a bar type counter. Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. I was off of work today, and am I glad I ordered the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. It was THE best sandwich I've ever had. Perfect ratio! I'll be back to try more delicious food.
Average, not bad but not great. Bread is good, my sandwich was missing the balsamic advertised though. Prices are fair. Vibe is a C-, It's in the back of a liquor store... The staff is nice but were also soliciting us for good yelp reviews. I'd probably go back if I lived within walking distance but otherwise not worth a trip.
