My friend and I made a reservation here for our Christmas Dinner, and the 3-minute walk to the venue was perfect. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and cozy, with lovely little Christmas decorations on our table as a nice touch. The meal was delicious and everything was executed with precision, thanks to a great team. We had a wonderful Christmas day thanks to the entire staff. We look forward to returning in the summer for live music nights, as the venue looks fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved!
From the moment of booking over the phone to leaving following lunch, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. This is a warm and welcoming classic pub, an ideal place to spend a few hours. Our food was excellent value for money and was enjoyed all round. A particular thank you to the staff for accomodating our 2 young children and Conner for ensuring a table was available at the time requested on a busy Saturday. Looking forward to our next visit!
This place is fabulous. We had a family party in the Chapel for an 80th Birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. Maria was so patient with all my email queries and made the organisation of the party easy. It was the perfect setting and the buffet that the pub supplied was amazing and exceptional value, everyone commented on the quality of the food. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would not hesitate in recommending this venue.
I brought my visiting family to this restaurant and we had a fantastic meal. All 7 of our dishes came out hot and at the same time. The lasagna portions were big and incredibly tasty, the burger was delicious, and the curry was flavorful. My family is looking forward to coming back again soon.

A big thankyou to Alana and tonight’s team for making the Ghost Walk so welcome tonight! Good selection of wines, soft drinks and hot drinks. The staff entertained us with further tales about ghostly happenings at the end of our walk.
The food and drink at this restaurant are excellent and reasonably priced. I have no complaints about this establishment. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend dining here.
I had the rack of ribs which was lovely. Good portions and freshly cooked. Friendly owners and staff who work tirelessly to provide a fantastic venue for live music at weekends too.
