Party of 16 booked in ahead for lunch for the Shropshire Christian Walkers Group. Tables reserved and all sat with comfort. We preordered the food we wanted. no trouble at all when additional food orders were added to the party. All food turned up promptly beautifully presented excellent portion sizes. Highlights on our table were the cajun chicken salad obviously cooked fresh with a wonderful selection of spices. The angus burger cooked to perfection. juicy with lots of flavour. Lovely pub for a drink but unfortunately food not so good, I did complain politely but no apology or offer of compensation. £16.95 for a main course! I think most people seemed happy with their burger chips style meals but I ordered off of the specials board, sadly, which was a very small, sad portion with burnt bits of vegetables in it. Very disappointed.
Wonderful spot to have lunch while exploring the area. The menu and drink options are great (definitely try the ploughman's). It's lovely to eat while looking out over the river. Ample parking and they welcome dogs.
Fantastic local pub with super friendly staff and a great menu. Dog friendly, log burner and fabulous view over the river at Jackfield. Easy 15 min walk from Holiday cottage Drake Cottage Jackfield Ironbridge Gorge.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, well-cooked and tasty. The menu offers a good variety of options without being overly complicated. Additionally, they offer Hobsons ales which is a bonus.
Had a great birthday meal with the grandchildren who are made very welcome. Lovely atmosphere. Good food and beer. Will be back, can't wait for summer to sit outside!
