The Blacksmiths Head

Good little pub with excellent food and drink Inc coffee for the driver, great little garden with tables plus helpful staff and well tapped beer and food is well presented. The only drawback is that it sits under the flight path of Gatwick airport but saying that I got some excellent shots of the planes making their approach, or taking off over the pub when the wind direction changes. Overall a great little country Pub !!

Excellent... visiting Mum in Lingfield we chose to eat out, the service was fab the young lady serving gave us full attention as Mum has funny eating habits. Vegan burger was great as was the inferno burger. Will be back plus it was Tuesday night and burgers were half price .... thank you Ray and Nic

Lovely, welcoming pub, excellent food, dog friendly. The garden is beautiful. The staff is the perfect example of how to run a successful local village pub and business. Just the perfect end of a lovely day spent in Ashdown forest! Highly recommended!! We will be back!

absolutely fantastic pub. Great beer and can definitely not fault the food would definitely recommend to anyone. Try the burgers you will definitely not be disappointed.. Lawrence and Catherine make you feel very welcome
