Booked a table for a birthday lunch. Seated in middle of room, next to a pillar. There was a fire at the other end of the room, unfortunately the heat didn’t extend to where we were, shivering in the droughts from the open doorway. I wouldn’t have been annoyed if this had been the last table, but, a corner table in a far more sheltered area was available for the whole period we were there. It was obvious we were cold, but we were studiously ignored once we were served. I feel the Blair has become a victim of its own success, and unfortunately most customers prefer quantity over quality in their extensive menu. Unfortunately most of my lunch was bland and tasted completely unseasoned. Not rea...
