I took my girl friend here, because I had been here in the past and the food was good. We ordered and 5 minutes later our meal arrived. My brisket sandwich had been under the heat lamp to long it was close to chewing on old leather shoes. My girlfriend has the 1/2 rack of ribs she mention they were dried out. I also got the Mac and cheese side dish as did she, it was terrific. It tasted like someone had but a very large amount of Pickle juice in it. I felt terrible as I raved to her how good the food was at the Blue Duck. It was worst 50.00 I ever spent for a meal and I will never return.
This place is a hidden gem. We are from out of town, but regularly visit, we never heard of this place before, but someone recommended this place. We had a small wait, but when seated the drinks were always full and the food came quick. There were a wide selection of beer and cocktails. The food was amazing and there are a lot of other options we wanted to try so we will be back again. The staff is very friendly. Even met the owner, he was working the kitchen and delivered us some food.
Wow!!! Get the brisket plate, you will want the whole pound even if it means you have brisket for lunch tomorrow!
