I almost didn’t want to share this hidden gem, but I have to! The food is incredible and the atmosphere is beautiful. I first dined here six years ago when I was staying next door, and it was just as good then. They had been closed since before COVID, but they’ve since expanded their space and capacity. Thankfully, this hasn’t affected the quality of the dishes. Sometimes, when restaurants expand, it can lead to a drop in quality, but that’s not the case here. During a recent hotel stay in Chester, we chose to eat here instead of at the hotel, and we loved it so much that we returned again the next day on our way home. It’s a true treasure that I need to visit more often. Thank you!
Brilliant little cafe food wonderful and staff are fantastic. Great menu and all home made. The girls, Leonie Jo,Claire , Nicky and Kay are great, full of fun creating an amazing atmosphere but also very kind and helpful. Just love coming to this place. Last week, 15 members of our village group had our annual lunch at the Bluebell Café. We placed our meal orders in advance, and everything went smoothly. Many of the members who had never visited the Bluebell before were delighted by the ambiance, the food, the service, and the friendly staff. To top it all off, we enjoyed a lovely walk in the Bluebell Woods. Knowing that our visit supports the community makes the Bluebell my favorite place to eat, and I look forward to returning more often. Thank you!
The staff were wonderful, and I highly recommend the food. However, one downside was the number of dogs present; I wouldn’t take my own unless they capped the number allowed.
