The Boarding House

Food was nice, sea bass it’s self was lovely but the potatoes/veg were drowned in an unpleasant lemon sauce. Lovely decor but lacked atmosphere, stuck out on a wee table in the middle of the floor when there was others. Waitress was more officious than efficient, felt a bit rushed and snatched menus and glasses away from us. Fair value for money and I will give it another go as big menu to chose from. Suggest selling champagne by the glass

Boarding House staff were very friendly on arrival, table service was very good our host Holly was very friendly, professional and very competent during our meal, food was very good ,menu was very good, catering for all tastes, we experienced no concerns whatsoever, during our visit. We would highly recommend to family and friends for sure

beautiful Sunday dinner, young boy who served us was really pleasant and lean was astonishing as usual with the children. my granddaughter loves her as she needs time to talk to the children and she feels welcome. great value for money on Sunday midday menu

and what a surprise. I have read some different reports, but nothing is better. the workers were helpful young. the eating was at a very high standard and at reasonable prices. Everywhere a large place to eat had a great time..we were back. cheers

I love the relaxed feeling of this place. I would definitely try more dishes again. the steakcake was delicious and very generous. the service was well equipped and friendly.

Quality food in a relaxed setting. Excellent menu selection with something for everyone and great value too. We frequently visit from Glasgow and will be back again soon.
