We, along with two friends, decided to try the Boathouse for dinner. We we impressed. Our serve staff was friendly, engaging and efficient. Our orders were taken and delivered flawlessly. Between the four of us, we ordered a salad, two appies and three different entries. The quinoa salad lettuce wraps were a little underflavoured. Adding a little salt helped greatly. I really enjoyed it. We ordered the bruschetta and the baked crab and cheese dip. Both were flavourful. The pita tips were grilled to perfection. For entrés we had the walleye. Last year we visited Boathouse and were extremely disappointed. The service was incredibly slow, the food was bland and tasteless. I didn't think we'd come back. But with a pending group event there later this week, my wife and I decided to give it another try. Wow! We were greeted, and seated in a fast and friendly manner. Drink orders were taken and drinks received quickly and efficiently. But most importantly, the menu has been HUGELY improved. Tons of great options, many vegetarian. The service was not bad. The waitress was attentive and served us relatively quickly but there ere only 4 other people out on the patio and bod couple inside. There was a view of the bay, but the wood railing was eye level which obstructed your view. They did nothing to make the patio look nice. They Vuillard have cleaned up around the outside of the patio. Looked at the food menu but did not order anything other than a beer. Good prices were high for what you got. I would not recommend a stop here

Beautiful views of LOW both during the winter and summer. Excellent food and good service. Bathrooms are clean and well renovated. The building is clean and nice. You can access the restaurant by water or land. There is docks for boat parking or parking by vehicle is behind Shoppers. Reserva una mesa ahora

Had an excellent lunch experience on the lake, beautiful view and excellent food (lobster rolls highly recommended). The service was friendly and efficient, just perfect. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

We stopped by here for a quick lunch and were very pleased. I had a lovely salad and my husband had a rueben sandwich. His mouth could hardly open wide enough! Great food. Terrific view of the lake.

Recommended by a local we stopped here for dinner. It's worth the wait to enjoy the patio if the sun is out. Great view, good food and friendly service.

Excellent Service, great meal! Not expensive. Right on the lake with outdoor seating. Lovely view of the lake.
