What was once Peterborough 's go to Asian restaurant has over the years become so very hit and miss. Sometimes it has been amazing and sometimes it has been awful. This was one of those awful occasions where when family invite you, expecting a special evening with outstanding food and service, disappointed beyond belief lands on your table and you vow to move on. Bland, grey, outrageously salty food was there in spadefuls. I 've read the last 12 months of reviews and they are pretty mixed. Consistency is so important to a restaurant 's reputation that you expect the same quality and service every time you visit which commensurately gives you the confidence to recommend the venue. Our dining experience was extremely disappointing. Despite arriving early to a nearly empty restaurant, we were made to wait 1.45 hours for our food. When we inquired about the wait, we were rudely told that we had to wait as we were in the queue. Meanwhile, takeaway orders were being fulfilled quickly. It felt as though they prioritized takeout customers over those who had booked a table. The service was lacking, the attitude was poor, and the food was only average. We were left feeling frustrated and just wanted to leave. There are much better dining options available than this place. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Terrible experience. We visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a horrible time. Decided to give it another chance, but nothing had changed. Despite having a table booked for 5 people at 7:30pm, we weren't seated until 8:05pm because some of our party was late due to parking. After waiting for drinks and then our food order, we were told by the manager that they couldn't take our order because some of our party was late. Absolutely ridiculous. We left and went to Gurka Dubaar instead, where the service was excellent and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend going there instead.
Fifth visit this year. Sunday buffet has gone down hill a little. For us the starters are the best part of the meal but today we were told that we were not allowed extra Pakora, only allowed extra curry and rice. The Pakora is hands down the best I have ever eaten, curry is nice with a small selection brought to the table. We should be looking forward to our next visit but unfortunately mainly due to the tiny portions of the starters, it is unlikely that we will return. Shame as the restaurant is a very nice place.

This restaurant is one of the worst I have experienced in my life. I do not recommend trying it, especially if you are planning a function or party. Make sure to have your terms and conditions written and signed by both parties, as I was put in a difficult situation and overcharged. The food quality is poor and the service is bad. I will not be returning and urge everyone to find another restaurant in the area for a better experience. Thankfully, there are many other good restaurants in Peterborough.
We have been dining at Bombay Brasserie frequently for the past few years and have always enjoyed excellent meals. The chefs meticulously follow the manager's recipes, ensuring a consistently high standard of food quality. There is a sense of reliability in knowing exactly what to expect when dining here.
Without exception, the worst takeaway meal I have ever bought. Bone-dry leathery half-cooked naans, peas like bullets, sauces well inferior to ASDAs, tough greasy mutton. The food was an embarrassment to serve. It was an insult. This restaurant needs to get its act together or close.
Consistently good food and service has always been polite and professional. Even as a walk in later in the evening (due to finishing work late) the staff still accommodated us with a table. Always a must visit when travelling to Peterborough

We went on new years eve. It was really busy with a great atmosphere. Service was good they where happy to help. Food was fantastic. Parking can be a challenge but it worth the effort to go in.
