Perfect Atmosphere, Fantastic Food and Great Hospitality from all the staff involved in running this Gem! We first came here a couple of years ago, just before lockdown and have been back time and time again even though we are not local. The food is...to just die for and there's always something a little different on the Specials Board... We had the Steak, minerare, Andrea's was Medium, both cooked to perfection, any steak that you can cut easily with a normal knife rather than a steak knife is quality meat and this was just that and the blue cheese and peppercorn sauces complimented them perfectly... Booked for a catch up Sunday lunch with friends. Skipping starters we all opted for the set menu with the roast lamb the most popular, steak pie and fish chips next. The quality and taste was exceptional followed by great cheese and puddings. Add...the good attentive service and value for money what’s not to like.

We have visited this restaurant numerous times in the past year, with family, as a couple, and for business. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious, and the staff are attentive to our needs. The only downside is that it can get quite busy, so securing a table at peak times can be a challenge.

Went on a Monday lunchtime which was surprisingly busy, I soon understood why. Such a lovely old pub with open fires. The food was excellent Very friendly service and made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back with more friends and family.
