The Brakeman American Grill has top-5 burgers on the menu. Check out the Specialty Burgers, many of which are listed as 1/2 pounders, but (thankfully! can be ordered as 1/4 pounders. We ordered The Southern Pacific Cajun Burger (1/2 pound burger topped with Cajun seasoning, pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and Frank's Red Hot Sauce, served with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo and The Crazy Brakeman (subbed 1/4-pound burger topped with bacon, grilled onions and mushrooms, pickled jalapenos, melted Colby-Jack cheese, served with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo , which came with fries--we subbed one fries for onion rings, and highly recommend! Teton Pass was closed because of a road collapse, so we opted to have lunch here before embarking on the lengthy detour to Jackson. We were pleased with our decision! The staff was friendly and the burgers, fries, and onion rings were excellent. It's worth noting that there are only two people working - the cook and a server. Despite the busy Sunday crowd (Father's Day, no less), they handled everything superbly. The bathrooms were charming, clean, and well-stocked. The prices were reasonable, considering the current inflation. We will definitely return when passing through again.

Super nice people and a very friendly atmosphere were the first things that popped out to me here. A nice little place on our way back from the Tetons that we wanted to stop and get a burger at. The fries are top notch 5 star fries all day long. Hand cut and delicious spuds that melt in your mouth. The burgers we had were big but the flavor was just okay on them. Patties were a little dry and they lacked on flavor in my opinion. We very much enjoyed our meal and the service was fantastic. My only area that didn't fully meet my expectations was the burger.

The Brakeman in Victor serves the best burgers we've ever had. Along with my burger, I opted for a Greek salad which was one of the best I've ever tried. Choosing a salad instead of fries was a fantastic decision. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent, so I highly recommend this restaurant. Amazing burgers with a great atmosphere. One of our favorite places to eat in Victor, ID. Great menu with a fantastic burger selection as well a great kid 's menu. The burgers are undeniably fresh. We typically upgrade the fries to sweet potato fries. And the service is very good friendly staff. Believe me when I tell you that this is one of the more memorable burgers you 'll ever try.

Went to grab food here after a hockey tournament. The server basically refused to seat us saying we 've just had a lot of big groups tonight and we are kind of over it . Wish we knew how the burgers were but I guess we will never know.....would NOT recommend for a hungry group of people.

I discovered this burger restaurant while in Victor. The burgers were huge and very tasty. The onion rings were delicious and the portion size was generous. I would definitely recommend it if you're craving a burger. They also offer a kids menu.
