The Brass Tap National Harbor

What is the deal with having your outdoor seating be a cigar lounge? Especially during pandemic when people prefer sitting outside. We sat at bar for some quick food and drinks on a Friday late afternoon. The brussels sprouts were actually quite good despite the presentation (pic) in a styrofoam bowl with all pimentos thrown on top. Vegetarian wife and I shared the soft pretzel bites, loved their white queso dip. I also had their boom-boom shrimp. They were good and hot and NOT tiny like some places serve. And there were eight of them, so it was a good serving. The owner responded to the above with we sell cigars and cater to people who use their brand for the intended purposes. Their brand?...

Amazing! I wish I had discovered this place earlier in my trip. I was able to visit twice, and both times the service and food was popping. During lunch I had a shrimp basket. Oh so delicious. The music is good and the space is created for lively discussions. The Peeps and I enjoyed lunch so much we back for a happy hour. Again, stellar service. I ordered to take this round, but enjoyed a shot of Ole Smoky while I was waiting. Everything was hot and fresh and delivered fast. If I had lived in the area, I would be here regularly.

Fantastic little spot! Very lively, amazing service, food, and drinks. Love the fish tacos and pretzel bites. Look for Eli if you go in. He was a phenomenal bartender/server. We will definitely go back if we?re in the area!

Decent food and decent service. Great selection of beer with option of sampling four at once! The waitstaff was ok, otherwise I?d post 5stars!
