The Break Room - Reserva de mesa

This restaurant is lovely and situated perfectly for pre-gaming before a Burl show. They have a fantastic fire pit! However, we had an unfortunate experience with a "regular" who took it upon himself to passive-aggressively confront me for ordering a homemade whiskey sour. He remarked, "Yeah, these people coming in here asking for craft cocktails are ruining the atmosphere." There were only three people in the bar! If they want to stay in business, they should start serving craft cocktails and treating customers kindly. I also mentioned a cat that was on the bar, saying something like, "Aww, look at the cat," and the bartender immediately walked over to hang a bar towel up to block our view...

Very enjoyable, laid-back atmosphere. Dog friendly. There is a resident cat there, also. We sat out back by the creek, which was lovely, and played a hook game I had never played. A very nice fellow brought his traveling guitar with him that you had to listen through a stethoscope to hear. I really enjoyed meeting new people, the cat, and the dog. He was definitely a chick magnet.

My favorite spot in LEX, I travel here from California a lot for work, and I always look forward to coming here. Awesome atmosphere, chill, real bar talk, staff is genuine and personable. There is a fire pit outside to warm up by, and the best part is Flynn, the local cat.

This is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy some drinks. I strongly recommend visiting the Break Room if you find yourself in Lexington's Distillery District.

Great bar in a historic distillery district with many drink options and generous pours. Highly recommend checking out this whole area.
