I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning around 9am and it was quite crowded. Luckily, we were seated immediately and a server quickly took our drink orders. For breakfast, my wife ordered blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon and maple syrup, which she said were delicious but she couldn't finish them all. I had the 'Greasy Spoon' breakfast, which included sauces, bacon, hash browns, beans, toast, and poached eggs of my choice. It was well presented and tasted good, but the downside was that all the items were lukewarm/cold. I mentioned this to the server, but the only response was to clear the plates and ask if we wanted the bill. The meal was not cheap, costing around £47. Overall...

The four of us were looking for a place with some atmosphere to enjoy a full and hearty brunch before embarking on a long tasting session of beers along the Bermondsey Beer Mile. This was just the place for us with really good service from all of the staff. The food was really good too 3 x American and 1 x Greasy Spoon. So much there and filled us up before the next bit of our day. The place was lively with great music playing and it's somewhere I could return to time and time again. Booking is most probably best in view of how busy it was. Our table had a time limit of 75 mins which was enough. If there was an improvement for me it was much more maple syrup with the stack of pancakes althou...
Brilliant brunch stop we came across by chance! Staff are extremely friendly, service is quick food fresh despite the business. We attended on a busy Saturday morning got asked to put our details on the booking list await a text telling us our table was ready. Originally we were informed it would be a 25/30 min wait, after a quick walk around Borough Marker we received a text after 10 minutes telling us our table was ready we were promptly seated. Food was tasty the menu had a large variety of choice. Our server (cannot recall his name) was super nice complimentary on our Scottish accents!
Upstairs in North terminal, the Breakfast Club had the shortest queue of all in a packed airport. Still there was a wait to get in, but the excellent Romanian host Yullia was polite, friendly, professional, apologetic for the wait and efficient. Very tasty and tangy food (avo, egg and cheese sandwich) with delicious coffee all served by Bianca (also superb) in a comfortable and quiet environment (considering the number of people). They have a paper menu but the ordering is done by QR scan which makes it very efficient. I would definitely go there again. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food and service were fabulous such cheerful, friendly staff. However, the volume of the music being played made it almost impossible to converse with our friends without shouting. We asked repeatedly for the volume to be turned down but it didn’t happen. Hasn’t the manager read all the reviews, from esteemed food critics, who downgrade restaurants such as these where the ambient noise makes eating unenjoyable for the paying customer?
The burger was served cold and I was charged nearly £30 for a glass of wine and a small burger with a few chips. As someone who dines out frequently, I can confidently say that this is the worst place for food that I have ever experienced. The portions were small and cheap. Even a cheeseburger and small fries at McDonald's for less than £3 would have been a more luxurious dining option compared to this.
Visited today with our 18month old. The food was great, staff were lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately though they only had two high chairs and one of them was broken so we couldn’t use it. Staff did all they could but seems a bit ridiculous to only have one working highchair for the whole restaurant. Would put us off going back.
The staff at this restaurant were rude and unhelpful. Despite the fact that there were five free tables available, we still had to wait for 30 minutes. The food did not meet the good standard we had heard about, and it was very expensive for what we received. There are definitely better places to have a pancake breakfast in London. Loved our meals. May have been the best tasting bacon we've ever had. Great location walkable to Borough Market. Staff were friendly service was quick without feeling rushed.
