My husband and I were visiting the Herstmonceux area for a weekend and enjoyed this cozy pub for dinner. They have a nice beer garden too. The food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and attentive. Vegetarian options: The menu had a selection of burgers and other meals, some of which were vegetarian and seafood options. Parking: There is a parking lot for patrons. It's not large but we were able to park there with no problem. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Called in here for a quick pub lunch with the wife. The food is excellent! Home cured ham, home cut fries, the wife had lamb kofes which were faultless. We'll definitely be back. A great find. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great pub. Have been in for drinks several times. Noticed the pizza oven on our last visit and would be keen to try pizzas looked amazing! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
