We were only in Lewes for a a few days but appreciated this pub as being a genuine free house serving a wide range of excellent beers plus a wide range of excellent food all supplemented wit excellent friendly staff.

Very good food. You were greeted in a very friendly manner when you walked in and the hospitality was accordingly. It is cozy and well maintained.

Loved this place. Had dinner which was delicious and a quick game of Toad in the Hole. This is how pubs are supposed to be.
