The Bricklayers Arms

While visiting Knole, we decided to have lunch at a nearby pub and came across the Bricklayers Arms after a quick Google search. We were pleasantly surprised by the picturesque view of a lovely lake outside the pub. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the staff and promptly handed menus. My partner enjoyed a classic dish of ham, egg, and chips, which did not disappoint with its generous serving of thick ham. I opted for a delicious goats cheese baguette. The pub has a separate dinning area, it is best to ask to eat in here. There are gluten free options, different from the app sample menu, but the roasts are just without the stuffing, Yorkshire puds and chipolata (pigs). The food was very tasty. The service was a little lacking in experience but acceptable. I have been many times to this pub and the food has always been very good.

I had a great lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the chicken burger. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime, so it seems like everyone knows how good the food is here.

beautiful delicate duck jam, decadent choc fudge cake and an excellent glass red exactly the ding on a gloomy winter evening.
