We have been here in the past and not had a bad experience. However, this time it was truly dreadful and we 'll never go back. The proprietors were having a laugh and a joke with their 'friends ' at the bar and we were made to feel we were intruding when we went to order. My husband wanted the double rack of ribs. When they came they had not been marinaded properly and one wide was not cooked through. He didn 't finish them. I ordered the burrito which was supposed to come with all sorts of sides included. What I got was a bare wrap nothing else and the filling was 99% rice and 1% meat. It was just terrible. I wanted to complain but my husband just wanted to leave so we did.
I saw the Brigg advertised on Facebook, the food looked amazing as so did the cocktails and the reviews very good, so I decided to have this venue for my birthday celebration along with friends. I found the menu very sparce, I decided to have the seafood platter, which was very nice, but told there was no bread available as stated on the menu it was only 6.30pm so why no bread so early evening there was only 6 of us booked in and I found my platter a mussel overload to compensate for no bread, everybody's was nice but I must say I was totally disappointed, the staff were very friendly.
**** awful! Ate here they got my meal all wrong! Was just dry mince ! In a bun ... tasted awful also messed up BANGERS AND MASH !! That's right mash and saussages! barely cooked saussages and watery mash! Gravey was just hot water ! Ordered a White Russian I was handed vodka and milk in a glass not mixed together all curdled ! As savage as this website Is I do not recommend spending any of your money
Great little gem of a bar with experienced and knowledgeable staff and a great cocktail menu. More than happy to talk through each drink and offer guidance based on your preferences.
