Popped here for the Fulham Comedy Club and it was ok. The tickets said there would be bbq food cooked by a top chef, but this never materialised which was a shame so we left hungry. As for the comedy the compere was funny and...energetic and there were five acts. Obviously comedy is subjective and each act may not be to everyone’s liking. It did get a bit boring with most jokes either about race, religion or smut. The fourth young chap was the funniest and actually had some standard jokes and good banter too. A few of the other acts struggled a bit and lacked energy. The headline act wasn’t too funny and didn’t work the room too well and seemed like he was going through the motions of his jokes. The usual stuff about being Northern Irish and the stereotypes thereof basically made up the whole act. He ended with a poor joke about English people’s grandads which went down like a lead balloon. Basing a joke on wrong assumptions about how family members pass is never the best move a it was a relief once he’d walked off to little applause. It was good to have live entertainment and it’s always a gamble when you don’t know the acts and some was decent and others I doubt we’ll see again anywhere soon. Would go again and hopefully the acts will be a bit funnier. Just a note on the housekeeping, at the intervals we were all encouraged to get a drink at the bar. There were only two people serving and people crowded the bar trying to get a drink. Not ideal in these times as being at the bar is supposed to be a no no, especially with ten other people in a small space. Also, five comedians and the compere shared the same mic the whole night, touching it and talking right into it. Probably not the best thing without it being sanitised at any point. A few points there for the venue to address hopefully. They also hurried us out at the end and asked for donations into a bucket. We’d already paid for the tickets and people don’t have cash these days so I don’t think they got much. Maybe a contactless option might be an idea in future as I get their trade has found the past few months difficult. Was a decent night all in all, but not sure I’d hurry back.

i was shocked to over hear a lady who nicely informed the bar man he had given her vokda and water! he replied well we have got no lime, to which the lady responded thats fine, let me know and offer me something else, his...replay was to F off and found it appropriate to put his hand in her face. Avoid this place no one comes out for this kind of abuse.
