Popped in around 1pm was my first time here sat originally 3 table from window as that where we was more Conformable there was 8 tables in cafe and only one other taken as we sat down we was asked if we could move to the front as they was closing that area off don't know why as they don't close till 2:30 wouldn't like to guess if 10 people walked in where they would sit but anyway that's all that was wrong if you're going to sit in a cafe when there's only one other table in use you should be able to sit where you're Conformable with and even when we finished it still wasn't closed off there was only 2 of us and before we left 3 others came in and they was also asked to move to the front sad...

Our family used to visit this restaurant regularly. The staff was always friendly and attentive, and we never had any complaints. However, during our most recent visit, the restaurant was nearly empty but we were told there were no available tables. When we asked for a takeaway order instead, we were told there would be a one hour wait, despite the lack of customers. We felt discriminated against based on our ethnicity and community. We will not be returning to this restaurant and do not recommend it.

This restaurant offers excellent breakfast options and has a consistently friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is lovely, although it tends to be busy on Saturdays with many take-away orders. It's a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time, as even when it appears to have empty tables, they are often already reserved. The homemade cakes are especially delicious and highly recommended.

I recently visited this restaurant with a group of friends for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was of great quality and offered great value for the price. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. This is definitely the best place to go for breakfast as they also have a great menu of items to choose from. I went to The Brook with my husband for afternoon tea on Valentine’s Day and it was excellent! There was a varied selection of savouries followed by delicious scones and cakes. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is just delicious. I would highly recommend a visit and will definitely be returning soon!!

Visited early in the morning with my mum! It’s absolutely beautiful and great value for money. Came to around £20 for the both of us. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of different syrups for the coffee! Lovely little coffee shop, would definitely recommend booking as it can get quite busy. Best cafe!

My family arranged for a fabulous afternoon tea at the brook today for my birthday. Wonderful food, in very generous portions, we are all stuffed!! Thanks so much to Hazel and Lindsay, you have outdone yourselves once again with such a lovely spread. Thanks also for my card and balloon feeling very spoiled! xx

Had a wonderful breakfast at the brook. We called earlier and they reserved a table for two. Worth booking ahead as it is very popular, for good reason.

Warm friendly atmosphere, food is always spot on. Our regular go to for breakfast and lunch. Try the chicken and mozzarella toastie. Delicious!
