Excellent place to stop and relax for a dinner with family and Fri or for drinks and entertainment or all of the above. They have a great outdoor setup all summer long as well, with live music under an outdoor stage beside the brook in Shirley MA. with well waited indoor and outdoor tables, you have the options of sitting inside the restaurant at tables or high tops or at the bar or in the warmer months outdoors on the patio or under the open sky at picnic tables or under the giant tent at tables all with a view of great live entertainment. Their staff are friendly, attractive, attentive and very hard working, all in all The Brookside is an excellent cozy place to chill all year round. (The Brookside also Includes TV, Keno, an ami online jukebox, clean restroom lots of off street parking)

We came in to order pizza and when we got the pizza It was burnt on the bottom and raw in the middle and when we mentioned it to the cashier when we left I think all we got was a blank stair and a little bit lack of understanding Was not looking for a refund just trying to make aware of what was going onAfter a week or so it passed I was in there again and mentioned to the owner and the owner had a got upset and told me that I should never come back. Place is an absolute dive and the clientele were so disgusting and offensive that we walked out. I'd be embarrassed to work there. We came because the website looked nice and the menu online appeared to have options we liked. Items on the menu were not available and they even ran out of Ketchup. Conversation was vulgar and inappropriate, I had to pointout thatthere were children in the building and it still didn't stop. If this were advertised differently then we wouldn't have brought our family here. Disgusting on all levels.

I would NOT recommend this place!! Website is miss leading. This place is a dive! The language and conversations from their regular customers was loud, disrespectful and totally uncalled for. Ordered our food but left before it came. They were asked by a customer to please be considerate due to the fact of children being present but they continued to be disrespectful and inconsiderate. The employees allowed this to happen.
