Brownstone Cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Fullerton. It is in a small Spanish courtyard with a small fountain in the middle, an open skyline, which in a warm stream of sunlight on Sunday morning. It is the place where you want to read a book, reverse with friends or simply enjoy the sunlight. The best time to go would be between 9 and 12noon. It is not too crowded, away from busy city life, and offer excellent breakfast / lunch menu. My friends rave over Brownstone's fluffy scramble. FLUFFY. I tried her Mediterranean omelette and I wasn't disappointed. If you want to try an omelet, either spinach mushroom or Mediterranean (spindle, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, feta chee...

The first time to come here and we loved it absolutely. The staff is super nice, very hospitable and helpful. We loved how the waiter needed time to go over some of her dishes and didn't seem to have disturbed. We have two coffees, yes they offer refills, the eggs Benedict, who die for, and the breakfast Panini, also fantastic, and we shared the French toast. The French toast was amazing, not super sweet and beautifully light. It is slightly roasted so that the crunchy adds a great texture, it is not your traditional triangle cut bread. The three dishes were divided by two adults and not a left feeling filled or hungry. Just the right amount of food. Come back. Be aware that the closer it co...
I came to Brownstone's café for what I was hoping for breakfast, but I was sadly rejected because only lunch was served. the café is usually “brown” as a name encoder, and the ambience is very casual, relaxed with indoor and outdoor seating. Maybe something too ruthless, because our server seemed a little too not to be there all. I would have to say that lunch food was hit/miss (not spectacular), but the outdoor terrace could be enough to come back to breakfast another day. I have heard that breakfast is good, and as the previous reviewer said, it is hidden in a cute Spanish courtyard.
Another surprising Fullerton gem. Mainly soups/salades/sandwiches for lunch. (I did not try their breakfast menu, which was very praised by those who know). Your famous tomato-basil soup must really be tried if you are a first timer. It is creamy with the amount of spices. I'm not a tomato soup type (not even a soup type), but I always come for this dish. Other winners are the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, the Cobb Salad Wrap and Matt’s Special (an apple/avocado/brown offering on the ceiling). Good stuff. FYI, you're not open for dinner. So good! And, for the area, very well-priced. It's a teeny-tiny little spot that's a few blocks from the wharf, but it's worth checking out, especially if you're tired of the touristy stuff and the prices that come with it. The banana-granola pancakes were probably the best pancakes I've ever had. Eggs were flavorful and the bacon was cut thick, so much to like at this little spot. The service was prompt and friendly, a great way to start your day.
Who doesn't want to have breakfast on Saturday morning on sunny spring day? The waiting staff is excellent, the ambience is perfect. The food for me is just okay. I had the salmon and eggs with home potatoes. I'll come back to try again because I want to love everything.
I have the steak to the right act I wanted! Pretty hard to see cafes that offer steaks to be so good with their steak. Good season. It's just a mistake that her ash-browns were heavily polluted... no wort. Great texture, but no wort. 8/10
Great food although the huevos rancheros were the only thing on menu I didn't like due to not having traditional sauce on eggs, was just egg, Tortillas and beans. Reserva una mesa ahora
The BLT salad were pretty good but not too outstanding. Almond ice cream was great! But the coffees weren't too good
Home style breakfast... great food great price. And super nice, efficient service.

"Great healthy food. Good on the go. Highly Recommend the Waba bowl with brown rice and veggies. Better than Flame broiler."
