The moment we entered the pub, we noticed the Covid restrictions in place, but we were greeted with such warmth! We had a reservation and were promptly shown to our table. Our drink and food orders were taken without any hurry. The food was delightful—I had scallops as a starter, followed by a perfectly cooked steak. Although I couldn't fit in dessert, my companions enjoyed theirs and loved every bite! The service was quick and effortless; nothing seemed to be an issue. It was a fantastic birthday meal! I ordered Chinese food and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and delicious flavors. The chicken dish I had was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-try! I always prefer recommending a local pub over a chain restaurant.
just got 2 pizza takeaways, both were excellent, fairly cheap considering the great quality, handsome delivery boy brought them round speedily, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting great food without a big wait

We have had an AMAZING Sunday dinner this evening! I would have taken a picture as the portions were unreal but we all dug in straight away there was no time! Thank you! Big thumbs up from us!
Four of us visited last Sunday evening. We all enjoyed the excellent food at a reasonable price. The landlady and locals were friendly and welcoming, just how a village pub should be
We had an excellent Sunday lunch takeaway delivered right to our door. The beef was beautiful, and the Yorkshire puddings were delightful!
