We have visited this restaurant for drinks on several weekends and found it to be a bit outdated but acceptable. However, during our last visit a couple of weeks ago, we were very disappointed with the attitude of the bar staff. When I ordered a Spritzer made with Sauvignon Blanc and Lemonade, the bartender went on a long tirade about how a Spritzer should not be made that way and scolded me for calling it a Spritzer. I have ordered this drink in many other places without any issue, so I was taken aback by his reaction. He rudely served the drinks, took payment without saying thank you, and then walked away. After a busy day of putting up fencing, we decided to go out for Sunday lunch. The bar was bustling, but the restaurant was peaceful. We enjoyed roast lamb with all the trimmings, which was absolutely delicious. The gravy was served in a gravy boat, which was a nice touch. The service was impeccable and the prices were very reasonable. We had a variety of meat options to choose from, including lamb, beef, pork, and chicken. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The price for such a lovely meal was incredibly reasonable.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast on January 2nd, after all the cooking for Christmas and New Year's that we had to do ourselves. The meat was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. The roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were superb, and there was plenty of gravy. We also had a party here on Saturday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it a success. A huge thank you to Yvette, Trevor, and Reece.

This is an older-style pub with a charming atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The Guinness was perfect, and the dinner, while not a large portion, was delicious with tasty gravy and Yorkshire puddings. My friends ordered cake from the special board, which looked delicious and was generously filled.

eating in the bull inn was what I expected in the pub-grub: very good, hearty and homemade. they have an excellent selection of huge hearty cakes. a traditional pub with warm, welcoming locals. eating was an excellent value for money. after 3 curses I went away and felt fuller than a bull inn bum.

wonderful pub. no juke box, ground music or fertilizers. large selection of beer and very friendly staff. only the kind of place to meet friends and chat without their votes to raise bubble music or simply sit in peace with a big drink. one of my favorite pubs. I wish we had lived a little closer.

I absolutely loved the drinks at this restaurant! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back again soon. This pub is amazing - the food is delicious, and everyone is welcome. Have a lovely day!

Typical English pub. Very warm and friendly landlord and staff. A good selection of real ale. Not many great pubs left like this, well worth a visit.
