We had a lovely carvery lunch during the week. The service was prompt and the portions were generous. The meat options (beef, ham, turkey - you can choose all three) were of good quality and the servings were quite large, perhaps too large for children. The vegetable selection was varied, but seemed to have been sitting out for a while by the time we arrived around 1:30pm. Overall, it was good value for money and the staff were friendly and polite. There is plenty of parking available and a well-maintained children's play area on site.
We recently tried the Sunday carvery at this restaurant and really enjoyed it. However, we were a bit puzzled as to why the same carvery is more expensive on Sundays compared to weekdays. The gravy was a bit bland, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a nice experience to have a Sunday family roast without having to prepare the food or clean up afterwards. Just eat and relax.
Stopped here for a quick Monday lunch. Didn't fancy the carvery low traffic meant very dried out offerings so decided on simple Fish n Chips. The fish was a bit small (not the whale sized fillet shown in the pics) and wasn't the price shown on the exterior adverts. But, it was fine, and the chips were decent. Overall, it was OK, but I'm not rushing to return.
This is amazing. I had the carvery and the family had off the menu. The food was brilliant. Good sized portions, piping hot and beautifully presented. The carvery had qn excellent variety of Vegetables. Staff are lovely and pleasant. Value for money and will return for sure. Thank you.

Carvery was delicious with tasty roasties, great choice of veg, meat lovely and plenty of it. Price really good so we will defygo back again. The guy who welcomed us in, dark hair and glasses, was very nice and friendly.

Spot on . Fantastic. Women at carvery was lovely , brightened my day with a little chat . Lovely accent . Good to see young people getting involved. Amazing food
The very friendly man behind the bar reserved us a table at short notice. The meals were lovely, especially the carvery. We will come here again.

Good old pub fayre at reasonable prices. The Gammon was generous and succulent. Service was good too.
Nice pun decent gsrden dog friendly not tried the food but supposed to do great mussels!
