Prime Rib is excellent (only fri-sat). A pretty good replica of an upper midwestern supper club in southern california, but in a strip mall, which is kind of just how So Cal is anyway. .... complete with a Packer emblem at the bar. It was convincing enough that i asked the bartender for a brandy old fashioned sweet (for my fellow Wisconsinites.. yes, i know that was completely unfair of me to ask of the bartender) result: it was tasty, i enjoyed it, and he really tried, and i thanked him for the drink...but no, it wasn 't a brandy old fashioned sweet ... and to be 100% fair- i have yet to find a place outside of Wisconsin that gets it right despite all of the best efforts... kudos for trying...
The Bull Pen is definitely a restaurant worth visiting. They offer a fantastic variety of filets cooked perfectly at rare and medium-rare temperatures. Their menu includes a wide selection of sides, and the loaded baked potato is always a safe bet if you're not sure what to order. All dressings are homemade, and the blue cheese dressing is highly recommended. The service is consistently attentive and friendly, and the bartenders are skilled at crafting delicious drinks.
Service is always fab here. I like to get the filet mignon with a side of mashed potatoes. Drinks are strong and the app salad with house made ranch and beats is delicious. They have live bands on the weekends and the place turns into a dance floor too!
On Saturday, June 24, 2023, I flew in to visit my family who live in Southern California. I mentioned that I was craving a delicious steak, so we decided to have dinner at the Bull Pen.

This restaurant has an old-world charm with its dark wood and leather decor. The bar is great and the prime rib is very tasty. They also have live music on weekends.
If you want pure quality in food, hospitality and a special environment in Redondo Beach the Bull Pen is it.
The Bull Pen's mouthwatering steaks and rustic ambiance created a hearty and memorable dining experience.
