This charming rural pub has a welcoming atmosphere and a staff that includes Jane, Mick, and Destiny who are all very friendly. The locals add to the cozy ambiance. The home-cooked meals are both fresh and delicious, particularly the beef roast dinner and cheese and onion pie. It's also a dog-friendly establishment. We can't wait to return in the winter to enjoy the warmth of the real fire.

We visited this pub whilst out walking with our dogs, it was well worth the extra uphill distance to get to it. Such a warm friendly welcome from the lovely barmaid, followed equally by the barman and the locals, who even gave our dogs some treats in the great beer garden, the beer was spot on as was the fantastic pie and chips.

This charming rural-style pub is a delight. The decor is lovely, the staff are warm and inviting. The shepherd's pie is absolutely delicious - a hearty and comforting meal! We felt comfortable and welcomed, especially with my young family. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Absolutely amazing pub. I’ve been here twice before and both meals were lovely. Steak and ale pie and lamb madras. You are greeted with a warm welcome and it’s dog friendly. Beautiful traditional style pub that makes you feel right at home.

Lovely little spot off the beaten track so well worth knowing about. This was our second visit to this place for food! The food is simply good pub grub with friendly service, in some old quaint surroundings. We will definitely visit again.

Absolutely spot on. Had the most gorgeous Sunday lunch here after a walk. Staff really friendly and the pub is dog friendly. Will defo come back again whenever we’re walking in the area and look forward to their Sunday lunch!

The owners were brilliant and made us feel very welcome. My husband said it was the best Peroni he had ever had, and he's had a lot! We ate the chilli and steak pie, both were really good. Definitely recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing home cooked food, owners couldn’t do enough for you, local gem, definitely worth a visit. Inside the pub, some really cool decor to view. Stain glass window. Would definitely recommend!
