Tasty food but I ordered a dish that could be vegan or vegetarian, clearly specified that I wanted it vegan and they brought me hallumi. I politely raised this and they were a bit rude about it but did swap the food. I also noticed a purple hair in my food which I politely pointed out. They said no one in the kitchen had purple hair so it must have been mine. I'm blonde... Staff were just quite rude about mistakes that shouldn't have happened. The food was nice enough but the experience was bad. It was quite expensive too. I won't be back.
I use to go to The Bungo when I lived in the area before going vegan. I always enjoy the food there. The vegan menu has a lot of different options. We had the broccoli and “cheese” pasta and the chickpea and veggie haggis burger. They were delicious. I missed some desserts options though. But when I asked they told me they had vegan ice cream.
Ask for the vegan menu. I’ve been here with work and visited two consecutive days. Had the chickpea and vegan haggis burger on the first night, with a sweet corn tofu fritter to start. Both delicious. Came back next day and had cauliflower bhaji followed by a ghoan thali. Amazing curry, rice, papadoms and homemade pickles. Staff lovely.
We went here for the quiz (which we won! but was more than pleasantly surprised by the food. Separate vegan menu with a wide range of options as well as great selection of delicious vegan beers on draught. We ordered all the starters as well as the burger and some sides and none of it disappointed.

This restaurant offers regular , vegan, and vegetarian menus. The vegan menu is nearly as large as the regular , and the food is stellar! Staff is friendly, dogs are allowed, lots of alternative milk choices for coffee.
Separate vegan menu with lots of options, staff were nice and accommodating and specified which was the vegan dish when they brought out the food which is always reassuring.
Really good selection of vegan options, the ones I tried were excellent. Staff were knowledgeable and clearly understood vegan food.
The breakfast is my favourite here but all the food is excellent. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommended.

Great food and cocktails. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Added bonus there are always lots of cute dogs.
