I had looked at the online menu for this gourmet pub a few times before my mother, brother, and myself decided to check it out recently. What I will say is, much like other people on here, first time there and, we will not be back. First off, it is very nice inside. Wood paneling, TVS, comfortable seating I really liked the laid back, relaxed vibe. That is where my likes stopped. I ordered the club sandwich with the kettle chips instead of fries. The meal was $17.50 with an extra $3 for the kettle chips over fries. Why an extra $3? The fries and kettle chips are the same price on the sides list on the menu. To me, this was ridiculous. Although we have eaten here a few times over the last three years, and always had good service, good food, yesterday we tried the Wings Wednesday. While checking out the menu online beforehand I read several poor reviews and was quite surprised actually. Every time we have been there we have had prompt friendly attention, good food and pleasant staff. Yesterday was no exception, and we'd like to give a shout out to Andrea, our server, who helped us decide how hot or cool we wanted out wings, and gave us excellent service throughout. A great little neighbourhood pub.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking plentiful and wheelchair access easy. Lots of room inside to get around.
Good tasting food but very small portions and not worth the money. Got 2 orders of nachos, the first was tiny and barely warm. We politely told the server and she responded rudely. She argued with us that it was normal size and she saw it come out of the oven so it should have been hot. We ordered another plate because the first was not filling at all. The second order of nachos was much better in size and temperature but the server was not apologetic or even friendly at all. This isn't the first time I've encountered unfriendly service here. I will likely avoid this place in the future.
We finally got our food after 47 mins. Our appetizer arrived around 50-55 mins. Waitress nervous because no doubt consistent bad reviews. This was our first and last time here. $114 on garbage food. Secondhand embarrassment from the poor quality and service. Steak was gross.
