I went to Butter Chicken today with a work colleague during a visit to Fairview. This is a new restaurant occupying a former fast food burger place, which was renovated but still feels ultra casual. There were limited choices for Indian food -samosas, lamb, beef and chicken curry and butter chicken and some sides and naan bread. I had butter chicken spiced to "hot" and naan. Plain rice came with the meal and a neatly presented plate was served after a short wait. My lunch was so tasty- perfectly balanced flavours and spiced to a respectable "hot " without over powering. Best food in Fairview! This restaurant is a vast improvement over the last restaurant in this building. The tables and chairs have been upgraded, and upon entering this place the mouthwatering smells from the kitchen are immediately noticeable. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and the manager/owner? came to ask how everything was. We were happy to tell him it was delicious! I had the butter chicken, medium heat, but next time I think I will go with mild, because as I ate my dinner the heat really built up. The Butter Chicken Co. is the best restaurant we have eaten at in the Peace country, bar none. You can always tell if you have half a chance of getting an interesting dining experience if the menu isn’t eight pages long. For sure if that happens, you know you are going to get nothing but pre-prepared stuff from the commercial suppliers. Not at Butter Chicken. These people know how to create a varied menu, but with realistic expectations. And then, you get a meal that is worth paying for and talking about. Came to Fairview Alberta for a wedding. I know, where in Alberta you say? Fairview. Went out to dinner with some family to the Butter Chicken Co. Un-freaking believable. Everybody loved their meal. Butter chicken, amazing! Chicken tikka, fantastic! Gluten free fish and chips, incredible! Even the kids nuggets and fries were awesome. Too bad we had to travel 3500 km's just to experience it.

Naturally their butter chicken and curries are fantastic but on top of that they have THE best liver and onions I have ever had. Every dish is great. The service is beyond compare... the food is spectacular.... decor is astounding given what they had to work with. All of this is why everyone we ever take here makes it their new go to restaurant.
We were visiting family and were told this new restaurant was excellent which we completely agree! Butter chicken was sold out as it was almost 9:00 Friday so we opted for Curry Chicken instead.... wow! Best food experience in Fairview ever! (Aside from baba's perogies, of course!)
My husband and I have eaten here several times - each time the food and service were excellent! My husband's favourite - lamb curry. My favs are the signature dish, the butter chicken and the beef skewers! And of course, the naan bread! Made fresh.
I have had the pleasure of eating there a few times and was fully satisfied. I plan on going back to try other dishes on the menu. Staff was friendly and service was quick. A pleasant change for our area.

Most delicious tasting butter chicken outside of India! The flavours were perfectly combined and medium heat suited my tastebuds well. Then there was the naan bread ... OH MY!!
